UI and UX Design

Deciding what the product looks like and how someone moves through it. Before code, because the expensive mistakes live in code.

Overview

In short: Deciding what the product looks like and how someone moves through it. Before code, because the expensive mistakes live in code. Wireframes, prototypes, and design systems. Every screen traces back to a user research finding, not to a hunch.

UI and UX design is the work of deciding what a product looks like and how a person moves through it. Wireframes, prototypes, and a design system every screen traces back to. We design before we build, because the expensive mistakes are the ones caught in code. The cheap ones get caught in a sketch. Good design is not decoration. It is the part of the build where most of the product decisions actually get made.

What we do

Capabilities

01

User research

Interviews, usability tests, and flow analysis. We design against what your users actually do, not what the team assumes they do.

02

Wireframes and prototypes

Low-fidelity layouts that settle structure, and high-fidelity prototypes you can put in front of users and investors before engineering starts.

03

Design systems

A documented component library. Tokens, states, and rules that keep the product consistent as new screens get added by new people.

04

Interaction and motion

Microinteractions, transitions, and feedback that make a product feel considered. Motion used to explain, not to perform.

05

Usability testing

We test prototypes with real users before a screen gets built. The findings change the design, which is the point of testing.

06

Visual and brand design

The look of the product. Type, colour, spacing, and the visual language that makes it recognisable as yours.

How you can work with us

Prototype

2 to 4 weeks

A focused proof of concept that proves the hard part of your idea works. Clickable UX, the core feature running end to end, and a link you can share.

Testing the idea with users or investors

MVP

8 to 16 weeks

The smallest product that solves the problem for real users. Built on the same backbone the production system will use, so you do not throw it away when you grow.

Going to market with the first version

Full product

12 to 24 weeks

Strategy, design, engineering, the AI work, and launch, run by one team. We take the product from the first whiteboard to production traffic.

Shipping a complete product to customers

Team augmentation

Flexible

Our engineers embed alongside your team or take a separate workstream. We work with the stack and rhythm your team already uses.

FAQ

UI and UX Design questions

Do you design before engineering starts?

We do. Most of the product decisions that matter get made in design, not in code. A prototype lets us test ideas with users and change direction cheaply. Once engineering starts, changes cost more.

Can you work with our existing design system?

Yes. We adopt your system, extend it where it has gaps, and document the additions. If you do not have one, we build one as part of the work.

Do you do user research, or just visuals?

Both. Research is where the work starts. We interview users, run usability tests on prototypes, and design against findings. Visuals are the layer on top of structure, not a substitute for it.

What do we get at handoff?

A Figma file with a clickable prototype, a documented component library, design tokens, and specs an engineer can build from without coming back to ask questions. That handoff is part of the design, not an extra.
